What actually happens
No slides. We rebuild your current website on Baseline beforehand and then we look at it together.
- You tell us your town. We take the site you have now and stand it up on Baseline before the call.
- We walk through your own pages, including wherever it struggled. Those bits are more useful than the bits that went well.
- We post something while you watch, from whatever you would normally be posting. Bring a document if you have one to hand.
- We show you the approval screen, which is where your staff will actually spend their time.
- You ask us what we cannot do. We keep a page about that.
Get in touch
Email hello@baseline.city with your town and roughly how many people live there. That is enough to get started.
If you know when your current contract renews, or when your board next talks about this sort of thing, say so. Those two things decide whether this conversation is useful now or in six months, and we would rather know than guess.
Who we are
Baseline comes from Rudder, a small shop that has spent years building software for public sector clients. The component library everything here is built from is called Curbcut. It is published, and you are welcome to go and read it.
